How the DimensionYard score works

What the DimensionYard score on every listing means, how it is calculated, and how to use it to shortlist homes faster.

The DimensionYard score is a number from 1 to 10 on every listing. It helps you see at a glance which properties are worth a closer look. This guide explains what goes into the DimensionYard score and how to use it.

What the DimensionYard score measures

  • Price against similar homes. We compare the asking price per sq ft with similar listings in the same city. A lower price per sq ft than comparable homes scores higher.
  • Verification. Listings our team has checked score higher than unverified ones.
  • How detailed the listing is. Photos, a proper description, area, furnishing and possession details all add to the score.
  • How recent it is. Fresh listings score higher, because older ones are more likely to be sold or let out already.

How to use it

  1. Search a city or locality, for example property for sale in Gurugram.
  2. Sort by Best score to see the strongest listings first.
  3. Open a property to see exactly which factors helped or hurt its score.

What the score does not tell you

The score is based only on listing data. It can't judge the condition of a home, the legal title, or the neighbourhood. Always visit the property and check the documents before you pay anything.

For owners and brokers

Want a higher score? Add clear photos, write a full description, and price in line with similar homes. Verified listings also earn a reward in your wallet.
